GREAT INVESTMENT FOR MONEY

This is such a great investment for money. To have access to great and classic books for a small monthly fee is a breakthrough on so many levels. Considering how many other platforms charge monies for videos and moving pictures, to have such for books is really revolutionary. I do recommend SCRIBD anytime and any day to anyone.

Curated and Interesting

The library of books available to subscribers covers many genres and writers, and the magazines allow for a wide range of interests. It may be that you cannot always find the exact author or book you would like to listen to or read, but given the vast number of books out there, Scribd offers you a well-curated selection. I enjoy their suggestions of new authors based on what I've read. A great resource for readers.

Charged for a whole year of after free trial

I was charged for a whole year of subscription after the free trial expired, however my plan was to go with recurring monthly payment. Also I got no notification or email when the free trial was about to expire. I have created a support ticket but I got no response so far. I do not recommend, not even to try out the free trial. Its a shame, because it could be a good service, but not like this. :(

I love the library of books

I love the library of books. Other such companies make you huy book credits. I don't like to run out of credits, because I want to listen to as many books as possible. This site is wonderful. No limit!! My saved list will get me through reading/listening entertainment for years.

Terrible site and really shady

Terrible site and really shady. Dont waste your time at all with them. Read all the bad reviews. Enough said.

Do avoid.

They claim of letting you download a document after having uploaded two original documents. Well, I have uploaded two original works of mine, and they still didn't let me download anything. They also claim to let you test the service for free for 30 days as part of your trial. Well, I tried to start the trial period by paying with PayPal first, and then with Mastercard. Each time I stopped because I was facing an upfront payment. Avoid them, they are so misleading.

Something is not right

It has been mentioned many, many times in the negative reviews...why a payment before any kind of account set up? Seems to me that " Scribd " if legit, should have fixed this concern or issue by now. You pay but have no log in credentials to cancel your "free trail" Sounds fishy to me, I don't need another headache! FYI, after posting my review, Scribd’s reply is self explanatory to my point…I’m not the only one making this point… BUYER BEWARE
