Bad communication and worse ethics

Absolutely horrible experience with Scribd. After finding unauthorised payments on my credit card I reached out to scribd to have my credit card removed from the account only to be told by three of their employees (in the same email thread) that they would need to pass me on to a department that could help me out. This started on April 18 and the last correspondence I have had with them was on June 17 with them telling me someone from their trust and safety team would be in touch within 16 ...

I love Scribd.

I love Scribd. Their selection is crazy good. I'm serious, think of any book past or present and you'll probably find it. True, they limit you if you read too many books too fast or listen too much, I hated that at first, but the truth is, they couldn't charge so little and let you read 30 or more books a month. They gotta pay bills and royalties too (I think). People are always comparing them to Audible but even if you add up what you pay, you can easily get more audio books for less money ...

Underrated Gem

They are so many books and audiobooks to choose from, can read and or listen to multiple books at once. I always felt disapointed with audible for their high prices yet limitation on listens, Scribd is a great alternative, at a cheaper price. Underrated gem, highly recommend.

My favourite app

I have been using Scribd for several years ,from the time it was a free site to upload and download documents . I did not hesitate to subscribe to it many years ago when it introduced the library service.It is a great investment, you get so much more than you put in , and i had the same view even in the times when the access to books was limited to one audio and 3 ebooks.More so now, when we can access the whole library. It is a great app for an avide reader . Thank you Scribd team.
