As is the case with many people, I too have been ripped off by Scribd. I cancelled my subscription within the first 30 days and just today noticed they have continued to take funds from my account. Looking at how many others have had this issue it is clear that this is deliberate.

Charged me for trial

Charged me for trial. I subscribed for a trial and was charged. Yet the app still classifies me as NOT A MEMBER. I have sent and email and have to heard anything for over three days now. This first impression has destroyed the desire to stay with Scribd. Now I want a refund. And I don't even know who to contact. Very disappointing. Support ticket #2927568. Problem is, I still cannot access Scribd books even though I am supposed to be in trial mode.

I had to cancel 2 weeks before my trial ended because the software was awful. Every book I tried to read would jump back up to the table of contents, so it was impossible to actually read anything. I discovered after canceling my free trial they’d been charging anyway. They’re now refusing to refund all of my fees because they have a 30 day refund policy and one of the charges happened 31 days ago. Cancelled membership// Still charged monthly// No refund

I have cancelled my membership and they still charge my account. Very frustrating to try and get ahold of someone so I can get a verbal confirmation for cancelling my membership. That way I could at least get a refund. Even though they can see I never even tryed to log onto my membership. For almost 2 months now. Today

Today, I, almost accidentally bumped into the scribd perks. I was so happy and surprised by them, I thought that it deserves a review. I am a member for over a year. Scribd is one of my favourite pages. It provides a full library and it is totally worth the price. It allows me to easily reach books and papers and audiobooks. Rubbish service

Rubbish service. Plays one - two mins then scrolling for ages. Doesn’t resume. And rinse and repeat. Absolute pain.
