Unethical, dishonest, deceitful!

So, unfortunately, I have to confirm what other reviewers have already stated here. Scribd does seem to have no problem with resorting to unethical, deceitful practices for the sake of making a buck. About a year ago, I got lured by them into going for a free trial. I tried to cancel the subscription after only a few days. I clicked the unsubscribe link and thought my affair with Scribd was over. This company is a joke. checked my bank account to see there’s a pending £109.99 for Scribd. Dont worry Scribd*ck i’ll get my money back. You can try all you want but once I call the bank it’s game over for you!!!! stay away from the most appauling company ever lol :)

I have been a customer for several years. I listen to audio books for up to 4 hours per day while I work. That means (depending on their lengths) I may listen to somewhere between 4 and 16 books each month. I have loved this service and until recently I would have rated it 5 stars. But I'm becoming frustrated. I have only one complaint but it is significant. Access to audio books is NOT unlimited. Content is actually rationed. Unauthorized Charges on My Card

Received an unauthorized charge of 84.99 USD from Scribd today. I've never used their services or had any dealings with them. Trying to reach them is a nightmare; no phone number or email, only through registration. Had to block my card due to this unauthorized charge. Beware of Scribd!
