Help for very green novices

Mark was incredibly helpful. He first helped me to set up our employees ready for our first payroll run then he was online giving me support as I did the first payroll run. I now feel confident to continue using payroll which is so much easier than my old spreadsheets and HMRC Paye ~Tools

1st MTD VAT submission via Sage200

I had set up Sage200 to enable MTD VAT submissions to HMRC. However, I wasn't sure whether I could still pay HMRC direct and whether not having banking feeds/HMRC set-up as a supplier payment account would cause issues when trying to submit the VAT return. I couldn't find mention of being able to pay HMRC directly via a company's own banking system so called Support. Excellent Customer Support

I needed to call Sage technical support for my first payroll. Damian, to whom I spoke, was extremely patient and helpful, walking me through exactly what I needed to do (my payroll structure is not "vanilla", so the online documentation was insufficient for my limited understanding).
