Quickfile review
I have great experience using the Quickfile accounting system. I have been using quickfile for mother companies. It will allow you to start for free and generate up to 1000 invoices nad purchases, and thereafter it is paid subscriptions, which SMEs can afford.

VAT in ten minutes
Once over the initial learning time (about ten minutes) this is quick and easy to use. Everything gets updated quickly and exported to a VAT file which can be sent to HMRC at the click of a button. I don't have a huge throughput, so with this system I can save the month up to the 30th without too much pain. Not tried any of the extra clever functions.
