"Great experience as a beginner"

What do you like best about Qubole? The notebooks are easy to use, and documentation about them was thorough. What do you dislike about Qubole? Customer support response times if the ticket is not marked as critical/urgent. Notebooks would also sometimes be stuck on "pending" or "running" with no explanation. What problems is Qubole solving and how is that benefiting you? I was able to train machine learning models and make database queries.

What do you like best about Qubole? I like the Spark notebook feature and also the UI for running queries and shell script. It's much more user-friendly than the terminal. The ability to filter and look at your past jobs is also very helpful. What do you dislike about Qubole? Accessing why spark jobs failed. I need to click through multiple pages (resources -> clusters -> resource manager) then open up apache spark to see the actual logs of why a job failed. Recommendations to others ...

What do you like best? Notebook-like design, interactive environment, ability to handle big data, multi-language support What do you dislike? Sometimes it is very slow to run a spark job. What do you like best? Not having to manage and worry about infrastructure, even in cloud, is huge deal. As a data engineer it’s great just run your workloads or queries using engine of your choice without worrying about complex setup. What do you dislike? What do you like best about Qubole? The best thing about qubole is the fast processing of big data. Earlier my data used to take 10 minutes to load but with the qubole coming in picture, it has been reduced to 3minutes only which is very beneficial for me. What do you dislike about Qubole? What do you like best? Its developer friendly. Its easy to write and test code in the notebook. What do you dislike? qubole slowness sometimes causes application to break. we get pagerduties and need to restart baston node.
