"100% secure, quality email platform."

What do you like best about Protonmail? This wonderful platform offers me encrypted email, 100% free with no ads, traces or spyware invisible. High level encryption and complete privacy. A free account is enough to have an excellent service, upgradeable to $ 4 per month for very heavy use and currently 5GB per month and more support. I like that it is extremely safe, it offers me double password, one for the mail and another for the entry mailbox. Complete privacy. What do you dislike about ...

Thinking of dropping PM

I've signed up with PM about a week ago. I tried fee subscription for 2 days, then took the bait. I paid for a full year. I've been trying for several days to get PM to work with Thunderbird to no avail "server time out" even after changing the timeout value to 2000 as suggested by PM. I'm thinking of cancelling and requesting a full refund.

"Send and receive emails securely"

What do you like best about Protonmail? ProtonMail is a reliable mailing solution, that ensures users high privacy and security standards. In a registration process, there is no personal information required to create an account. Your mailbox is encrypted using AES-256 method, that has never been decrypted, so your data is safe. Mails are encrypted P2P; as a result, third parties cannot capture and read it. Their hardware is located in Switzerland, a country in Europe, where privacy law is ...

"Secure mailing solution, that provides users with a high level of services"

What do you like best about Protonmail? Protonmail is in a class by itself secure mailing solution, that provides users with a high level of services. Every message is encrypted using powerful methods so that it's undecryptable for hackers due to SSL connections. Moreover, the messages are self-destructing, so it's deleted in a short time and if somebody breaks into your receiver's mailbox, there's a minimal possibility to be read by third parties. The company is located in Switzerland, so ...

Many problems with Protonmail

I have had many problems with the Protonmail Android app: 1. Encrypted emails don't get sent. 2. Attachments become detached from encrypted emails in the process of sending them. 3. The recipient doesn't receive encrypted email. 4. The metadata is not encrypted. Plus, I've had many more problems. This is despite the fact I use Protonmail inside my Samsung secure folder, use NordVPN, and use two passwords and the beta version of Protonmail.

Very good concept. Too bad it's not possible to use it correctly with an email client.

The Protonmail concept is great and the webmail is working perfectly. However, it's not possible to use it correctly with an email client, which is a «no go» for my production environnement. After more than 4 months of various emails with protonmail support, and despite three new versions of Protonmail bridge, I'm still unable to make protonmail work my email client. Protonmail bridge is just too slow, too unstable (at least 1 time per day with bridge stuck loading endlessly), makes ...

I tried ProtonMail in hopes of…

I tried ProtonMail in hopes of switching from terrible Yahoo over to ProtonMail. Before I got very successful with my personal mail, my work Outlook mail went down for sending due to the horrible server we need to replace (Lightbulb Creative). I like the fact I can send out requests for quotes to 30 emails without getting censored like I do with Outlook, but the lack of features offered by ProtonMail because painfully obvious as soon as I started using it for work. You can't view an ...
