What do you like best? Prophix is very much a Finance-Administered application without an Excel front-end (but easily exported to Excel). We are much less dependent on IT and more efficient. The application is point and click intuitive for non-financial users. Staging data from SAP and other sources has been fairly straightforward to implement. What do you like best about Prophix Software? Prophix can easily integrate data from disparate systems to create more meaningful analysis and reports. Each data set alone only tells part of the story. Powerful insights can be gained when combining the data. We've also become much more efficient in month end close, reporting and ad hoc analysis by moving from Excel to Prophix. I've used Prophix at two different companies for years. The ease of using the software, and the budgeting and reporting are included in the package which makes the process more efficient. What do you dislike about Prophix Software? Workflow. What do you like best about Prophix Software? Flexibility and ease for ad hoc data views, The user can quickly get at the data they want and pull it into tools like Excel. Prophix being privately held does lend to a better long term focus vs the sub optimized view that many private equity companies take on their portfolio. "Powerfull reporting tull integrated with Excel"

What do you like best? I like the fact that Prophix data can be rather easily imported/ exported from Excel, and the fact that the templates within Prophix allow for similar functionality as Excel, e.g. formatting, ability to add formulae.
