Almost perfect

Prolific is a trustworthy site where you can get paid and help science at the same time. However, I give it only four stars because they have not been listening to participants and refuse to extend the amount of time you have to accept a study. It's crazy how much time you need to be aware if a new study shows up, and most of the time you click on the study only to find out it is too late to be part of it. There are four members of my family who use prolific.All of us are not getting studies,and I think it's because we live in the same location.Prolific should give people studies even if the are 10 members who live in the same location who are on prolific.

Disappointing Experience with Cashout and Support

Account put on hold for no reason, unable to reply to researcher messages

My account was put on hold without any reason and now Prolific won't answer any of my messages and I am still waiting for a manual check. My internet provider is BT - the top company in the UK so there's no way it's not on thelist of approved IP addresses. Prolific say that they will get back to you within a few days but it has now been 2 weeks and I have had no response. Great way to make some extra cash while contributing to important research studies.

too many people, too little surveys?

While I think this is a great platform, I have not been able to participate in as many studies as I would like to. All the studies that come up on my feed are immediately filled. I am hoping the more studies I do the more will show up on my dashboard but it is hard to get to that point when I haven't been able to participate.
