Pays well - Awful support & people

The site is real and actually pays you, got thousands of $ from this over the years. But the shi*ty fu*king people there ban you for 0 reasons and don't even tell you why. It also ONLY caters to the study makers, you as a 'consumer' have 0 power to complain about anything. There are some study makers that literally just scam you of your time and Prolific does NOTHING, 1 employee even insulted me heavily. Don't support this goddamn site.

Very trustworthy site

Very trustworthy site. The studies are interesting, and I only take the ones that are relevant to myself - never lie about having a certain qualification/attribute to get myself in. The only reason I didn't give five stars is because the Prolific Assistant extension is buggy; I have to reinstall it daily to get it to work correctly. But all in all, I am satisfied with the site altogether.

AVOID PROLIFIC . DO NOT SIGN UP TO THIS WEBSITE I have been completing studies for over 3 years and have now been told I can no longer take part due to “secret checks” they have carried out. I have ensured I have kept my info up to date I always completed studies in a timely manner and answer honestly . AVOID AT ALL COSTS AS THEY ARE LIARS

Really like this survey site, the studies are so interesting and diverse. I’ve worked in social research before so ticks all the boxes (I hope I don’t get banned/ chucked off!) I too was surprised at the low rating on here

Hello , I am from CA,USA. I hate this system of verification . They have a very bad verification system. I tried to verify my ID but they hold my prolific id. I hate to say that. Its not good at all.

I was burned by prolific and they don’t even give any what so ever explanation on why they banned me, the management are so arrogant I checked or the things that might cause them to block a user and I didn’t do any of those things and on top of that the money I made with them is locked on my account I can’t access it

I was banned and wasn't even told about it and when they finally got back to me, they said it was because I did the surveys too quickly, but it was their own FAULT because I REPEATEDLY tell them that there was TECHNICAL ERRORS that they REFUSED to FIX which caused me problems, I CAN'T BELIEVE it they caused me to lose 50-100 dollars a month !

Complete garbage , blocks your account without reason and sells on your data to 3rd parties . CON BEWARE .

Never had a problem. The only survey site worth using, you get paid in real money for every survey and it works very well. Only problem is surveys can be a bit few and far between.
