Harvested my data then closed my account. No reason given.

Harvested my data then closed my account for no reason. Had over 70 studies and earned some money. My account was put on hold. I messaged prolific and was told I could no longer take part in any studies. I asked why and was told they cannot give me a reason. I replied and said I do not accept this as a reason for closing my account. Could you give me an address and a managers name where I can write to about this. No regard for their workers…

If I could give zero stars I would as I have never dealt with such incredibly unhelpful customer service representatives (more like bots). Anytime I have had an issue they sent an automated reply. Now after 2 years and 2000 studies with a 100% approval rate my account was placed on hold, and like all the other reviews on here they banned me for unknown reasons. It's a slap in the face when you provide consistent valid data in good faith then out of the blue they send you a form letter (and ...

Would give 0 if it was an option. Without a doubt one of the worst employee contact and account deletion policies I have ever experienced. I joined the survey site to add my own knowledge to their survey base. After around 2-3 weeks I was greeted with my account being delete permanently with NO explanation provided as to why this happened. After trying to chase I was given the response of ‘we are not going to be engaging about this issue anymore’. An embarrassing company and business model.

Good experience - Would recommend

I have been using Prolific for a few years now casually, I have submitted just under 400 responses the majority of which I have had approved. I have earnt around £500 in this time all of which has been paid to me by prolific with a simple cash out option. I have seen some poor reviews of the company but I can only speak of my personal experience and have had nothing but a good experience so far. I recommend it to friends and family and enjoy the surveys, I always try my best to answer them ...

I have been a member for over a year…

I have been a member for over a year now and have to say that I am very happy. The surveys are (usually) quick and easy and the amount you earn soon adds up. On top of a full time job this is a great way to earn a little extra. You won't be a millionaire doing this but the surveys are often fun and easy to take part in and complete. Shame others have had bad experiences as I am yet to. I have contacted customer services twice and they have been quick in reply as well as helpful and diligent ...

Ethical

Prolific are one of the best and most ethical survey sites I have used, they seem to value the survey taker and treat you more as a person, rather than a number, the pay is good, and most of the surveys I get are generally interesting, and the look and feel of the surveys are nice, some are even fun! I prefer to spend more time on Prolific than other survey sites, due to the surveys being much better, and the ethics, pay and feeling like a person. Payout is also very fast, £5 to be paid ...

Everything's amazing however-

Everything's amazing. The only thing that makes me a bit annoyed sometimes it's when I'm only notified about a survey then there's only one to three vacancies, not allowing me to be fast enough to get it.
