They will ban you for no reason and…

They will ban you for no reason and only send you a generic email that they send to many others that they ban. They will not do any investigation of why they banned you and just tell you that you are no longer able to be a participant. BEWARE! Editing to add since they replied: they do not over turn bans and it is final!

Good surveys and pay but....

I've got to say Prolific does have some good surveys and if the availability, quality and pay were the only things to consider, it would get 5 stars from me. I have to take off a couple of stars because there have been too many reports of people getting banned from Prolific without a reason given. There cannot be so many people that say they're following the rules and end up getting banned. I used to think it was just sour grapes from these people, and that they did get banned for a reason. ...

Legitimate Site Follows Through with their Commitment

I have used so many survey/study sites to make a little extra money. There are so many sites that well, if you've ever tried to make money with survey sites you just know and if you haven't, I'm pretty sure my tone is clear regarding the frustration you can encounter. Prolific is 100 percent legitimate. They do what they say and I have really enjoyed the studies that I've been a part of. There has been a lot of availability and opportunity which has been another pleasant surprise.

I barely get studies. Like, maybe 3 per week... (it would be nice to be able to accept them and do them later, because I have a 9-5 and sometimes I can't do them in the specific time they're shown) They put my account on hold for a day with no explanation, then removed it.

Got an invite for an account, was then told I could not have an account, which is fine however I questioned the implication that I had given poor responses to research when all I had done was given my name DOB etc, so naturally I didn`t really appreciate that being implied. The final e-mail I got was very cold basically said I was not welcome to reapply so dont try this and that they would not respond any further.
