Be prepared to be blocked!!

Been with them for a couple of years and they were great. Suddenly they stopped sending studies and blocked my account without warning in a rude and abrupt manner. When contacted they said nothing could or would be reversed. I think they harvest personal data having read more into them. AVOID if you value your time.!

Run by academics using academia as an excuse for treating people with very little respect when they have an issue. I had all the highs of completing many surveys in interesting fields. Had the lows of having surveys rejected because the researchers give an excuse for not paying you. Now I've had the last low of being rejected for surveys because my IP address has been flagged. Their answer- I need to get a new IP address or create a hot spot and mobile around trying to do surveys. Nonsense. ...

RESEARCHERS AND PARTICIPANTS - BEWARE

Another participant blocked for no reason. When I queried it I received the standard cut and paste emails that everyone else receives sooner or later, the last one telling you not to bother to contact them again, as they will not respond. Just waiting for them to respond to this with the standard cut and paste response. I worked hard with Prolific, took my time on surveys, and never used a VPN. If there were issues, I contacted the researcher, rather than just left the research, if I was ...

Had to leave a review! I’ve used a few survey sites, and always took care and filled things in properly, and it got really disheartening to get right to the end and get kicked out of them. And all this being for a few pence. Prolific is so much better! It’s a real step up from anything else. The surveys are actually really varied and enjoyable. It’s not just the same boring repetitive questions every time. The site all works great, the payments are a lot higher than other survey ...

Prolific is amazing

Prolific is amazing. I'm so so glad I found it especially during the pandemic when I've been stuck at home. I would give 4 stars, but recently I became unable to take surveys while connected to my wifi for some reason. It works on my phone without wifi, but after messaging their support, it seems that my ISP was removed from their list. Even with that, it's still a fantastic service with great rewards.
