Prolific Reviews in August 2026: User Ratings, Pros & Cons

So happy with Prolific!

In the past two weeks of using Prolific, I have been able to learn about and express my opinon on topics I normally wouldn't have come across. It has been awesome to dive into social issues more deeply. Prolific has been very easy to use and I love the clean, polished interface. I have been able to participate in a variety of different study/survey opportunites, which has really widened my perspective. It all has been a very pleasant experience to take part in!

This could be a great website

FIRST COMMENT ADDED 04/03/2023: Only had to perform around 20 surveys and cash amount built up to over £20. I cashed out the money and received it within 2 days straight to my paypal account! Amazing! However I have now been left without any surveys to complete for about 4-5 days now. I have been using Prolific for about 3…

I have been using Prolific for about 3 years. Now all of a sudden they are having cash out issues. They say it's an issue with PayPal but PayPal will tell you they never received your money. Prolific says it could be up to 30-35 days before they credit your money back to your account. Support is not helpful they just send you a "Copy/Paste reply. You already have only two days you can cash out and now you will never know if the cash out will be lost by Prolific and you will have to wait 30 ...

My account was banned too

My account was put on hold too. No warning or reason given. I only actively had an account for less than a week before the they put a hold on it. I didn't use a VPN. I tried answering surveys as honestly as possible. I had 2 rejected due to how long it took to finish them, which I understood. But I am unsure if that was the reason. a lot of potential, but a lot wrong

A lot of potential here and not bad cash outs, but their system needs a lot of work. As well as their customer service. The website glitches and the researchers can be blunt and rude. The time limit on a lot of reviews can be misleading and will usually be longer. And some aren’t great quality. You will get flagged if your personal circumstances change in reviews (which life changes). Member since 2020 - consistently excellent experience

I have been a member of Prolific since May 2020 and recently returned after a hiatus. The studies available are varied, interesting and engaging. During my time I have encountered very few technical difficulties - these are always handled quickly and professionally by the host. I have not had reason to contact Prolific Support directly as of yet however due to social media and word of mouth I have confidence that they would be able to aid me if I had an issue. By now (as of Feb. 2023) I have been using Prolific for about 1,5 years. Thus far I have earned about 250 GBP. Prolific is a great platform, when creating your account you have to fill in all types of questions, these will filter you in or out of studies depending on what is needed for the study. Finally A Damn Good Survey Site to Make Extra Cash

I am tired of all the crappy review sites that barely pay anything or glitch out a lot. Prolific is actually damn good. I heard about it from a random Reddit user when I was posting about side income from doing doordash deliveries. I haven't looked back. I usually earn about $50-60 a week once converted to USD. Won't let me sign up because I failed their "sign-up" check

I signed up for prolific more than a year ago and when I supplied all my legit information, their AI marked me as not legit for some reason. Thus I was never able to get any studies or anything. I supplied my information as correctly as I could but just cause their AI said I am fraud I must be fraud?
