THE DOWN SIDE OF PROLIFIC IS, THE SYSTEM CAN HOLD PARTICIPANTS ACCOUNT WITHOUT GENUINE REASON, WITH ZERO ROOM FOR EXPLANATION OR APPEAL TO GET THE ACCOUNT BACK.

Prolific Rejects You Network Connection Regularly
I have been with Prolific just a few months and love the different studies I have been able to complete but in those few month Prolific has had issues with my network connection on 3 different occasions and at those times I cannot complete any studies. The options they suggest do not work so I wait a few weeks to a month and then my network connection seems to magically be OK and I can take studies again for another week or two. transparent and reliable
I have been using prolific for a year and I am very satisfied with the experience. the website is clear and the communication about my balance is transparent. However, the indicated completion time for the studies is usually underestimated, which sometimes makes the money reward not worth it. It also happened that I closed the study page by mistake half-way though a study, but there was no way to get back to it or start it over. I wish this would be corrected, but overall is a reliable service.
