What do you like best? Powerschool has been the Student Information System we have used in our district for many years. Best of Class SIS
What do you like best? PowerSchool is a highly customizable and adaptable Student Information System. I have been using the product for roughly 17 years and have seen it go through some struggles and transitions. This is a positive in my mind though because the product is not left to remain stagnant. Not perfect but better than the competition
What do you like best? PowerSchool has the ability to modify/customize pages very easily. Standard reports are good and custom reports can be written in multiple ways. What do you dislike? The conversion from PowerSource to PowerSchool Community has been difficult. Recommendations to others considering the product: Give a good look. The customization alone is worth it. PowerSchool SIS easily manages student data
What do you like best? We are self-hosted which makes it easy to manage the back-end of the database. Oracle is a stable, robust, and reliable platform. What do you dislike? The disruption of service as PowerSchool acquires more products and integrates them into the existing SIS platform is frustrating. Powerful tool with a steep learning curve
What do you like best? It's all in the name! PowerSchool has a robust database, great customization, and an attractive interface for teachers, students, and parents. The gradebook is very good and has great reporting. Our reports are highly customizable and can be easily distributed to all schools. What do you like best? It's very easy to create custom forms and reports. What do you dislike? I don't like having to assign kids to every class individually. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? None.

What do you like best? The options are limitless...You can do about anything you want with it...if you have the time. What do you dislike? It is a mile wide and a mile deep...I just don't have the time to utilize all of it as I am the sole admin at my school for PS. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? State Reporting conflicts.

What do you like best? Being able to create both state and custom reports, look up individual student information quickly and easily. What do you dislike? Hard to find information that's missing in state reports What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? I use PS to answer daily questions. It's quick and easy in many ways

Great integration and easy to learn the basics
What do you like best? I love the wide range of plugin support! What do you dislike? Sometimes reference guides can be archaic. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? We use powerschool as our central student database for grading and to connect all of our student devices via an MDM solution. This way, we only enter student information once and it updates all of our services via plugins to third-parties.
