CWSP Usage review

What do you like best? I like the tool bars, they provide easy navigation. What do you dislike? I am confused by some of the titles when I am searching for student cell phone numbers and other important information. Attendance can be slow in processing as well. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? We are trying to have a central place for student attendance and places to make behavior notes. We find some problems connecting ...

Best investment a school could make.

What do you like best? Being able to customize it to fit our needs. What do you dislike? Nothing. They are making so many changes for the good I can't think of anything I dislike. Recommendations to others considering the product Good SMS out of the box but even better with customization. The PowerSchool Users Group is a great community. PowerSchool listens to our needs and most of the time your'll see that in their updates. What business problems are you solving with the product? ...

I use PowerSchool on a daily basis at my job.

What do you like best? I like being able to use PowerSchool to look up student information quickly (especially if I don't know the student very well. Having access to attendance, grades, demographics, and family members is very helpful. I also really like being able to have administrator access so I can write a "log entry" or read previous log entries from other school administrators. This is so helpful in the intervention process. We can track patterns of behavior which is very helpful ...

PowerSchool Review

What do you like best? I like that it's PT and PS all in one - nice that it's one primary SIS. Their PowerSource website is life-changing! Best resource/service center! The system is difficult to navigate but with proper training and attending 1 or two PowerSchool Universities you will quickly become an expert. Becomes fairly intuitive after a couple of weeks of using the system. The best feature are the customization of the fields. The database extension fields have not intruded too much ...

Pearson Review

What do you like best? I liked that Pearson was easy to use! I didn't have to go through much to access the things I needed. Everything was at my finger tips. What do you dislike? Whenever I used Pearson, I felt like there was always some type of lag. It always made me nervous to take quizzes because I was worried they would shut down or freeze before I finish taking them. In addition to that, I didn't like the way that the texts were structured. It was hard to read the textbook, and ...

Power School review

What do you like best? User friendly (once you understand it. I use it daily - throughout the day to schedule students, enter attendance, grades, etc. and relay information to parents and staff. What do you dislike? Working between Power Scheduler and Power School sometime causes glitches and I have to duplicate data entry. Recommendations to others considering the product Go to ALL OF THE TRAINING you can to fully understand what it can and can't do.... extremely important! What ...

Above average grading/attendance system that never crashed.

What do you like best? I thought the layout was easy to follow, and it was easy to shift between quarters and input final grades. What do you dislike? Having to log in all the time, but that is a necessary evil. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? The school I worked at used this program primarily for attendance and grading.

PowerSchool has been really easy to navigate.

What do you like best? The historical grades are easy to look up for students. We have also created our own Grad progress screen to view students's progress along the way. The attendance and demographics pages are easy to navigate and find what I need. I guess the overall program is easy to use, which I like, but we are starting to have to use other programs as well because PowerSchool no longer "does it all" for our Proficiency Based Teaching and Learning building. What do you dislike? ...
