What do you like best? I like the ability to get all contact information and demographics from students within one place along with grades. What do you dislike? The only thing I dislike is the separate required logins when wanting to input grades. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Not connected to business; however, I've noticed that with recent updates the files are no longer the same type.

PowerSchool was the easiest!

What do you like best? I like that it was easy to understand and find information and take role. What do you dislike? How it does not itdentify if a phone number is a home or work or cell phone. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? I used to use it to take role and contact parents and see student grades.

As simple as using PowerSchool

What do you like best? PowerSchool is the easiest school system I have used in my twelve years of teaching. It is efficient & allows access for teachers, administrators, students, and parents. What do you dislike? We have found it difficult to establish some of the settings - it would be helpful if there was an on-site trainer who could train all staff members! POWERSCHOOL for ALL!!

What do you like best? Power school makes it super easy for parents to keep track if their child's grades and progress, which is especially important in a special ed classroom. What do you dislike? The initial setup of the Power school account can be a bit tedious. Recommendations to others considering the product It's very much worth it to have Power Schools as a part of your teaching tools. What do you like best? Ease of use - I like how entering and saving grades is not a daunting task anymore. Parent communication is very easy as well. What do you dislike? There’s really nothing I dislike about the program. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? No business benefits, but it does aid in communication

PowerSchool Works!

What do you like best? That it has Teacher/Student/Parent linked portals. This makes it easy to have everyone on the same page. What do you dislike? Grading using this system is complicated and convoluted using this system. It requires repeated exposure and training to get accustomed to. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Paper waste/mailing costs/grade books/bulletins and memos being sent out.

PowerSchool SIS

What do you like best? PowerSchool has a vast and knowledgeable customer base. Getting help is not hard. What do you dislike? Sometimes it is hard to keep up with the growing company and the improvements. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? With having 38 schools in our district it is a great way for us to share students as they move from one school to the next.

PowerSchool - Instructional Resource

What do you like best? I like that the students and parents have an access portal to see up-to-the-minute grade and attendance information. I like that as a teacher, all of my students' information is in one place. What do you dislike? I don't like that it does not calculate the weight of each individual assignment in my gradebook as I put them in. I have to be careful that I put assignments in the right category and that I have enough of them so they don't weigh too much. ...

What do you like best? I do like how the grades can easily be transferred from canvas. I also like the marks and comments section for grade transparency. What do you dislike? It’s frustrating that the student information and grade book. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? I do like how PowerSchool connects to Canvas to where grades are easily transferred.

Easy and efficient way and use

What do you like best? I love how there is a vast amount of information at your fingertips, organized in a precise, easy-to-read way. As long as you know how to query as well, it’s easy to pull information, export it, and then paste it on a spreadsheet. What do you dislike? I haven't come across any problems, but in terms of dislike, sometimes getting information through queries can be a bit tedious. You have to know exactly what you're looking for.
