Ping Identity

What do you like best? Ping Identity is a powerful product suite, that has enabled us to solve complex identity access management challenges. I.e Identity federation and biometric authentication using PingID SDK. The main area where the product suit is lacking is automation and cloud readiness and enabling of devops best practice. Ping professional services have provided invaluable support in our initial setup and roll out. " What do you dislike? As Ping expands their product ...

Ping Identity is a strong partner

What do you like best? Ping Identity has great, standards based products. I can buy as much or as little of the suite as I like and know that it will interoperate with the other services I use on premise or in the cloud. I also really appreciate that the entire Ping team has taken the time to get to know us as a customer to deliver what we really need. They are focused on our success and not just our annual renewal or another sale. What do you dislike? To operate at large scale in ...

Ping Identity products

What do you like best? The best part of using Ping products is the time to deploy. We were able to download a version of Ping Federate and have it working by EOD. The GUI interface is intuitive and makes setting up SAML connections with 3rd party customers a breeze. We had an existing federation solution with another vendor product and fully moved over to Ping due to is ease of use. What do you dislike? No dislikes here. Even the subscription pricing that includes all the add-in ...

Open Standards-based Identity Management

What do you like best? I like the approach to standardizing on open standards, like SAML, WS-Federation, SCIM, OAuth, OpenID Connect, OATH, and FIDO2/WebAuthn. Open standards make it easier to build, secure, and maintain applications integration with Ping Identity platforms. Ping Identity is a thought leader in the identity and access management space, and routinely is a member of the bodies that create new standards. What do you dislike? Not all applications support open standards ...

Robust yet simple

What do you like best? As a tool to manage, the platform is designed well. it is intuitive and if you have managed other similar products you can pick up the Ping suite fairly easily. It has also seemed to be an easy experience for most users as well. What do you dislike? There is not much I dislike about Ping. A few minor tweaks here or there in admin controls would be nice. As Ping gets more market share, it will help with recruiting new IAM engineers with existing Ping knowledge. ...

Ping is not just a platform but also a trusted partner

What do you like best? I've worked with Ping across 3 different employers. Each time I've had different engineers, sales folks and various other contacts and they have all been exceptional. I have never felt like a customer with Ping. Instead, they have made me feel valued as their customer and that my voice matters. I have always received excellent support in both pre-sales and post-sales and, most importantly, they have always partnered with me to help find the best solution for my ...

Reliable Federation and MFA Platform for Enterprise Use Cases

What do you like best? It is a reliable, flexible, standards-based authentication platform. It's APIs have allowed us to develop self-service for app integration in two large enterprises. It is flexible in its deployment and allows us to minimize our operational efforts through the use of containers and cloud-native services. What do you dislike? PingFederate used to be the platform where new standards where deployed early on, users could figure out how to make them useful to the ...

Easy and quick Single Sign ON

What do you like best? We use this as a part of SSO process, we enter our user, password and if everything is ok, the website will ask for PingID, you enter the number and you are done, as simple as that. What do you dislike? You can refresh many times in a row and codes are still valid, since it's a 6 number value I wonder how many codes are actually valid in the same moment. I would prefer a longer code. Recommendations to others considering the product: It's a bit annoying ...
