Trash business model
Surely the way this company runs its business can’t be Legal? They f….d me over once by breaking links to my forum linked images and tried holding me to ransom by demanding money to reinstate those links. Shrunk my photos
This company was good years ago now their just evil. They stole a lot of my photos and shrunk the rest of them to 251x310. There is no way to restore original photos back up to 832x679 that was the size of most of my photos. Every photo they ruined is blurry thanks to these scumbags. That was my life years ago apparently they could care less. I took out every pic I had on their since they been bugging me to pay them. Do not use this company whatsoever. Aggressive advertising for paid account
It used to be a good website for sharing photos with others on the internet but after they changed their rules, they keep a good deal of my photos hidden because I don't want to pay and a big red note tells me, that I violated the terms by hosting photos. I deleted my account now.

they ransom your artwork!
had photos on there since 2004 and now they ransom half of my pictures just to get me into a payed plan. ransoming my materials is soooo wrong, it is equal to stealing. happy i had most of the pictures backed up elsewhere, i have now left them for good. bye.

I wish it were possible to give zero stars.Many years ago I had started an account on Photobucket. I uploaded images until 2014. Then the first change came and they started nagging me to use a paid account which, of course, I did not. But then it came even worse. All of a sudden they wanted 400 Euro for an account that made it possible to link images to a forum. Of course I didn't agrree to that. They had hidden the price in the small print. They overcharge and won’t refund you. They steal constanly
Do not purchase their service as you will get frustrated and extremely mad. I used to have the lowest plan which came down to be around $7 a month with taxes. Out of nowhere they started charging me TWICE and different amounts each time. Because of their STUPID REFUND POLICY which only allows them to refund you for 2 days (I didn’t notice the charge until I checked my statement which was around 4 days after the charge) they ARE NEVER ABLE TO REFUND YOU FOR OVERCHARGE. I have used a small part of my storage but have too many images! Luckily I could see the rot setting in and downloaded all that I could.Moral:Backup in multiple places and realize the cloud will rain crap, too often.

bought a plan and says I don't have the image hosting fuction and ask me to upgrade, after upgrading the plan, I still on the lower plan, and the plan statues did not change, and system keep asking to upgrade plan, contact their customer service, never reply my email, it is disgusting, trash!

Very sad company / business
Very sad company / business holding people to ransom over thier photosIt's shocking to see so many bad reviews but hey..sow the seeds reap your rewards..To top.it it all they carry on and make things worse by showing no regret or making things better for its users..I got most of all my pictures of there now..and I have the original photos ..Shame on you Photobucket..in the end ..you will not be used by the people..simple..Like I said..you sow .you reap.
