10GB advertised, 2 GB in reality
They advertise themselves as giving 10 GB free. (As of March 2020.) That is simply not true. They actually give you 2 GB only. The rest are 'unlocked' after fulfilling certain conditions.As for pCloud's reply: "could be yours for free", "you just need to". Exactly. If you mean "free", as "no money required", yes.But as you wrote the user needs to do something to get the 10 GBs. That is you DO require something for the 10GBs, if not financially. What do you like best? The lack of limitation of the file size and the upload/download speed. The ability to access your files from anywhere. The mounted virtual drive. What do you dislike? The lack of phone and chat support is a huge disadvantage in the fast paced environment we live in. Not the fastest uploads though in general the pCloud Folder works. Where it fails is with the Sync feature -- it becomes confusing when viewing the pCloud Folder (which is a virtual folder of a list of files in the cloud) to know what files or folders are synced because there is nothing to distinguish them from other files. The potential risk to delete a synced file there deletes it everywhere -- in-the-cloud -- and on your PC!Of deeper concern is the Crypto folder feature which cannot be ...

PCloud è stato l'unico servizio Cloud che mi ha fatto perdere 21 anni di ricordi, foto, lavoro ecc. e non sono un utente inesperto oppure ho cancellato per sbaglio i miei files.Avevo una copia di backup di un film di MIA proprietà. Senza preavviso o possibilità di recuperare i files hanno sospeso l'account (a pagamento 2 TB per 1 anno).Qualsiasi siano i loro termini di utilizzo, non è accettabile che non lascino recuperare i propri files. Bonjour,Je suis très satisfaite de l'aide apportée par le service de support PCLOUD. J'ai eu un changement de carte bancaire qui a bloqué mon compte. J'ai contacté le service par mail qui m'a expliqué et donné toutes les possibilités très rapidement pour résoudre le problème. J'ai été suivie pas à pas. A chaque échange ma réponse était attendue. j'utilise ce service de backup cloud depuis deux ans,aucun problème rencontré jusqu'à présent sur mon mac.Les 2 To à vie me sont amplement suffisant pour toute mes données.L'application iOS est bien intégrée ce qui permet de régler beaucoup de choses même en dehors de chez moi.Sur mon mac, pCloud se monte comme un volume externe ce qui permet de ne pas utiliser la place du disque dur mais aussi de faire croire aux programmes que les données sont stockées localement sur un disque dur ...

One of the best companies ever! I signed up for the lifetime account (500 GB) In a weekend offer period. Instantly after sign up the cloud is available along with a drive on your PC. The UI is very good and very easy to understand, the speed of upload was also very impressive. However, (and this is why the 5* star rating) due to an unexpected expense I really needed to cancel the service very quickly, one email later and the support team had got in touch and issued a refund there and then. ...

Good support and fair attitude
I purchased a lifetime account, and two days later the price significantly decreased as part of a promotion. Upon my request, the company actually refunded me the difference. This shows the responsiveness and fair attitude of both management and customer support. A well-earned trust score of 5.
