Paid for a slide online it turned out to be a scam, paypal dragged it out for weeks and eventually cancelled my claim and said i had done it, never got refunded and just ignore emails i will not be using them again,would give less stars if i could.

Poor refund policy

I ordered an item utilizing paypal, the item was sent to the wrong address. I contacted the seller and they refused to send a new item. I contacted PayPal and they refused to give me a refund because the seller showed that they sent the item. I'm not paying for items to be sent to the wrong address.

PayPal will not protect you from Fraudsters

Didn't back me when I had clearly been ripped off by a company that advertised one thing and sent another (photographic evidence sent). Followed the instruction to return item at postage of £6 but still found in favour of the conmen. DO NOT USE

I have been waiting for three weeks in order to speak with a live agent concerning my funds which have been on hold since Dec 2, 2020. Wat een gezijk is dit zeg!!! acount opheffen lukt niet code na me oudere huis telefoon gaat niet bellen om de code horen via me ouders huis telefoon gaat ook niet nu moet ik 10 euro betalen oplichters en mailen en bellen na dat paypal bedrijf gaat ook niet ze zijn gesloten..wegens carona ongelofelijk!!! Ik weet de oplossing ik heb ze mooi een aangetekende brief laten sturen door een jurist als je dat doet kunnen ze je niks maken!! Haha ze kunnen aan het gas !!

Beware Paypal Buyer Protection

Beware Paypal Buyer Protection. I had a package allegedly delivered to my house in November, when someone was at home all day. Royal Mail tracking says it was delivered, but that's definitely not true. I expected PP Buyer Protection to help out, but got only 'cut-and-paste' answers, and no help at all. Replies insinuate you must be lying. There's no protection at all.

The costs vastly outweigh the benefits

The things I love about paypal are the ability to protect my financial information from vendors I buy from, and the ability to kill any subscriptions those vendors set up without my permission.But: the seller bias of paypal is so strong that it overrides any practical utility of those points above.
