I was scammed by gake email and representative and filed dispute it was denied i fell for the kayak scheme and sent the proof that my kayak didn't weigh 6 ozs and same transaction # was used multiple addresses. Still havent gotten a person to talk to i have filed official charges with the fcc and usps and spoke to fbi agent whom is working on this case i am one of many ..

What’s the point in using PayPal?

What’s the point in using PayPal?? They are not fulfilling there obligations and protect the buyer. I bought an item (stupidly) from China. It was clearly a scam and what turned up was not what I ordered. Now PayPal say if I send it back, at my cost, they will refund the money. The cost of carriage is almost half the cost of the item. Why is the burden of returning an item be on the buyer. This is not the buyers fault. PayPal is not fit for purpose!!!

They say it takes 3-5 days to get your money with business invoicing, and then they switch the screen to say 21 days after four days. Terrible bait and switch, they will be indicted for this.

Last year, an Amazon seller (and I don't use anything related to Jeff Bezos anymore) sent me a nail gun kit and a little bottle of oil was damaged and broken in shipping. Avoid at all costs

I would strongly advise people against having anything to do with Paypal. I am extremely careful re security etc and yet someone was able to set up a bimonthly DD from my PayPal account for a substantial sum. PayPal were completely uncooperative in helping me deal with this fraud. The entire event was a nightmare but this company gave me no assistance whatsoever-in fact they did not want to know .
