Stay away if you can

The website is horrible, inconsistent and slow. Many features simply do not work. I've been trying to reverse a pending transaction for months now to no avail. I've been using PP since about 2006 - this company is not what it once was. Stay away if you can.

Incompetent beyond belief

I have tried to downgrade my account from a business account to a personal account as my wife no longer is a partner. Paypal want proof that I am running a registered business which I am not. I have sent proof of identity and jumped through loads of hoops and got nowhere. DO NOT use this company if you want a life.

Paypal es una puta basura, realizé un depósito mediante ellos, me saltó un error, me desapareció el dinero del banco, y directamente no se ingresó, intento gestionar la perdida de dinero con ellos, y me habla un puto robot que me dice que no se hacen cargo de esa transacción, mi dinero se quedó en el olvido, no lo recomiendo para nada

They need a button that says "0 stars". For the past two days I have spent hours attempting to speak with, not only a human being. But, a human being who speaks and comprehends English. Just to beg them to switch MY PP account from Chinese back to English. Because, I am American, and DO NOT speak nor understand Chinese. PayPal is the scammers friend!

PayPal talk about their 'Buyer Protection' as a user benefit but it is a false claim as it does NOT protect the user in any way.In July 2020 I, along with many others I later discovered, was scammed by a Chinese company which uses a variety of cover names - 'Irrperb.com' was my particular scammer but 'worterris.com' is another I've since discovered - but is actually 'ZHIXIN TRADING COMPANY.LTD'. Absolutely terrible service

Closing accounts for no reason, holding your money, customer service is the worst I have ever received, use anything else but paypal please.

PayPal is allowing China scams .No representative will speak to you , Been with PayPal for years , I refuse to use them now.Very much disappointed in their customer service.

Still holding my £72 a month later even though I have received positive feedback on all items from eBay two weeks ago.Food for thought: They hold money like this because they gain interest on your account value. This is why they don't respond to you, they will hold your money as long as legally possible. Never leave money in your PayPal; never USE PayPal. PayPal are thieves and I hope the company perishes.

Terrible customer service and they LIE

Terrible customer service, I have tried to issue a part refund to an eBay customer, the money went from my bank account with a fee charged but the customer has never received it and PayPal say they haven’t got the money either. My bank statement definitely says cleared to PayPal. So after several phone calls to PayPal who don’t appear to speak clear English they still haven’t resolved my problem, this has been going on for 17 days.
