I have had a paypal account for 20 years plus. Recently had a limitation put onto my account, reason being name on my account needed verifying. Had money in there that I couldn't access due to limitations. Did everything they requested sending document in but kept being rejected as the name on my documents did not match account name. Can you give a negative star?NEVER EVER USER PAY PAL - they have no customer support, they do not protect you from scam site and are a scam site them self. You are better off using your credit card who will support you. Pay Pal should be shut down and investigate. Awful awful awful. Id rather have a bath with my nan then use this toss again.

Cant withdraw my own money NO help what so ever :(

Shocking no help what so ever my account gets restricted say once every 2 weeks and is very hard ands time consuming to get hold of them and for them to actually help you!!! Also help line is terrible could NOT even understand the man i was speaking to and did not help me one bit after 45 mins in a waiting que am very annoyed and left angry will not let me withdraw my own money never using again and will sure read the word about this terrible experience...

Buyer protection is as good as useless

I purchased a joystick from Logitech (£200+), which was sent but lost by UPS. UPS mistakenly marked it as delivered initially but then subsequently did an investigation and accepted the item was lost, but their online web automated tracking system only shows that information was added without detail.As a result I raised a claim with Paypal. They closed it in the sellers favours saying that there was proof of delivery. UPS say if Paypal rings them they will confirm the item was lost - Paypal ...

Appalling service

Hi. Terrible company. Do not respond to emails. Really don’t care about customer service. Make you appeal in writing via snail mail which gets returned. No longer at addressCharge you excessive amounts to do a transaction then again to take money out of the account Highly recommend use another service if you can

Terrible Customer Service

I ordered something from China 6 months ago and till this day I have not received it. I sent several messages to the seller but of course I got no response back. I figured that because of Covid I would give it a bit more time. What a mistake! I sent a request for a refund to Paypal and they told me that they are denying the request because of the length of time. I believe I have been scammed and the worst thing is is that it was by one of Paypal's customers.

More than 1% from the customer for every purchase.

Afte you buy something they get money from YOU and not (just) the shops. Pretty ass*ole concept.Also, they charge you a pretty big exchange rate, what you always havet to explicitly tell no to do.I hate them, they use naive people with "small letter" rules.
