excess charges and lack of customer support
Hi, I was sponsoring a creator as a patron through Patreon. However one day I noticed that Patreon charged me twice for the same membership. I wrote a complaint to customer support (ticket ID: #1000473) but I haven't heard from them yet. Therefore I cancelled my membership. I wouldn't recommend this platform to anyone. It is unreliable and doesn't have good customer service. Best

I thought I'd given my bank details to contribute $3 a month to a worthy "creator". Instead $48 is taken from my bank on the 1st of the month as a membership fee which I didn't sign up for. Patreon are disingenuous at best, outright deceptive as far as I'm concerned. Read any small print very carefully and be extra careful about giving your bank details,

Charging 8% fees + 1% transfer?!
Charging 8% fees + 1% transfer?! For what?! And from whom- small creators?! Are you out of your mind?! And ofcourse I had to realise it after spending half an hour setting my account.

My money is "stuck"
I am a creator and apparently, my money has been "Stuck" between Patreon and Paypal. After waiting for a few months and talking to probably 5 different customer representatives... I am done. My patient has limits and not surprised about all the other 1 star reviews. Give me back my money or I will take it to court
