patreon has to be the most poorly designed website ive ever seen. whether im on a phone or my computer the website is barely able to load a list of podcast episodes. if i go to view older casts and hit the load more button the website usually just freezes or sits and tries to load indefinitely..i never have this problem with spotify or any other streaming service...the only reason i stay is because its the only place i can get the original content provided by artists....patreon needs to get ...

Patreon's customer service is both awful and an oxymoron.

1 star is too generous. Patreon's customer service is awful all of the time. Examples: a) can only contact them by submitting an online eticket. b) 3rd January ticket, got a standard "we love ya" proforma generic interim response soon after. 15th now, no response. Half the month gone, no access to services I paid for on 1st. c) then they "disabled my account", without notice. d) their online support FAQ is clumsy, vague and inept. 2FA sms login doesn't work, and the support doesn't answer for ticket/email even I'm supporter. Awful, frustrating, and disturbing experience.

They charge you a full month's price for less than a month of service

If you started and paid for your membership on the 31st of the month, you'd immediately be charged the day after for another month of service. Virtually no other business has this payment model and is designed to give you less value for your cash, terrible business practice.

I suscribe after midnight and I still get charged 2 hours later double the fee because they work off Pacific time. This is ridiculous.

Want to cancel a subscription but no longer have access to the email address associated to the pateron account I've messaged a ticket a good while back and still haven't gotten a response.

SCAM!! I signed up for Patreon when a creator from YT got a page.... I had a membership to them for about 2 months and then all of a sudden I had memberships to several more creators that I never signed up for. I believe I was either hacked or scammed by Patreon. When I reached out to let them know that I didn't sign up for anything new, they basically said it wasn't their problem and they don't issue refunds. This is my experience: i became Patron of a creator, after some weeks this creator deleted everything from his patreon's page and he disappeared, scamming more than 50 person. It was a scam.. Patreon.com doesn't support you at all if u get scammed via their platform. I wrote to the support and they answered asking me to fill a form, which i filled, warning them about the scammer page and asking for refund. Patreon stole my money

Patreon stole my money. I unsubscribed from a creator because whenever I pause the podcast patreon automatically rewinds 10 minutes (so it is unusable) and patreon stole money from me and I can't even use that money to listen to another podcast. Plus they just ban podcasts they don't like, so don't expect to be treated like a valued customer if you sign up to Patreon.
