They overcharge.

Even if more than half the current month has passed, you still get charged the full monthly fee and it resets on the next 1st of the month. So, "monthly $xx amount of dollars" is simply misleading and false. They should get sued for false and misleading advertising and pricing.

PATREON A SCAM FOR CREATORS

I went to all of the trouble of setting up everything, and doing the legwork there, only to have them within a week CANCEL my account for "suspicious activity". I responded to their email and asked "what's the problem"? They asked for additional personal information and I gave it to them. Then I was notified I was cancelled with no chance for further review. Notifications not working after cancelling

Patreon refuses to provide a refund when their platform has bugs like not providing essential features like notifications of new content from creators. Edit: Prior to posting this review, support was already contacted 3-4 months earlier with no solution. And no refund was given for this bug.

I found a lot of sexual content involving children on this website. Many of the creators who host this sort of material have thousands of subscribers (mind you, all of them are paying to view this disgusting content), and when you go to report it to Patreon because it's in violation of the law, they ban YOUR account. Worst service EVER

Worst service EVER. I signed up to support a developer I like, however Patreon decides to suspend my account after I completed my registration. This was an awful experience that has left me feeling bewildered and frustrated. I will find another way to support this developer and will avoid using this site going forward. Thanks for nothing Patreon.

Child Abuse and Suspicious

So I found an account claiming to be a 16 year-old girl who makes nude/pornographic content on Patreon and when I reported it to Patreon, they suspended my account and ignored all of my e-mails. Really suspicious how I get banned after reporting something not only against their community guidelines but also against the law. This is sick. Stay away from this horrible company!

I'm new to Patreon

I'm new to Patreon, and in a few months with a small number of followers I had to solve a payment issue with Patreon Help Center. Even though from the first message I explained why I see miscount, with screenshots of comments under unpaid by this site videos, meaning they were viewed and supposed to be charged. They said "you had no Patreons that period" I asked what about screenshots with comments, that clearly show that I had Patreons? My host where I keep videos as well this month showed ...

They suspended my account

They suspended my account for some kind of activity but I have not even used my account yet. I am waiting for them to get back to me. I also heard about a father who's daughter was sexually assaulted and put on Patreon. This is disgusting and hope the daughter is doing well. Shame on you whoever sexually assaulted her.

They offer you a 3rd tier package…

They offer you a 3rd tier package without rendering the service and then go ahead to tell you to upgrade to a higher service. They claim to know so much but they are deceptive. They even sweet talk you on YouTube, It's a scheme to reap you off.
