If you want easy to use video capture

If you want easy to use video capture, I would recommend Panopto. It is very flexible and most people will be up and recording with only a few minutes of training. I haven't found a usb mic or camera device that Panopto doesn't support.

Colleagues I introduce to the system are very pleased to discover how easy it is to create their own content with Panopto's personal capture tools. Panopto is integrated into our VLE, and used thoughout our institution. The learning resource it provides and enhancement to our student's experience is invaluable. What do you dislike about Panopto? Extremely capable product with an excellent company backing it up!

Extremely capable product with an excellent company backing it up. Panopto checked off a ton of boxes for us and more. It's allowed us to easily and professionally live stream events, create and manage all of our instructional content, seamlessly integrate with Canvas (including video quizzes that sync with Canvas grades) and the ability to caption ourselves or hire it out with any number of captioning companies. Top video capture and streaming service

I have worked with Panopto at two institutions now. I would say that they are one of the best, most responsive companies that I have worked with. The product itself is really good to use - both from an admin side and an end-user side. I like it far more than previous software I have tried and staff find it easy to use as well - as a lecture capture system and also for screencasting or capturing short, mobile videos as 'talking heads' or 'in the field'.
