Clear and solid tooling
What do you like best? We use Pagerduty in our main infrastructure. It never failed on us, is solid and stable. We completely rely on it to know if something's up (or down ;)). What do you dislike? No new interested features get released, or at least not that we started using. For example a post mortem reminder or even offering one would be a great addition. However Pagerduty does what is promises and does it well. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have ...

Constant improvements
What do you like best? Great tool for visibility and 24/7 after-hours incident scheduling. Extensive feature set and widely supported by other monitoring tools as an escalation tool. Great tool for visibility and 24/7 after-hours incident scheduling. What do you dislike? Alerts from sources like Zabbix, Icinga, Stackdriver, etc. often don't clear from PagerDuty after clearing from the source. Does not interact well with anti-flapping measures like those featured in Icinga. ...

Never had issues, Easy to use.
What do you like best? I enjoy the fact that the majority of all my teams use it so collecting metrics on our applications is easy. I can log in rather quickly get to each of my teams and see or change their schedules for being on call. I can also pull metrics on how many deployments we have done over a certain period of time which is helpful for reporting team performance. What do you dislike? I wish there were easier ways to filter out only my few teams, maybe have a special view ...

Great tool to alert the team in case of an incident
What do you like best? 1. Ease of creating schedules and escalation policy 2. Support for the various alerting mediums and users customization according to his/her preference What do you dislike? There should be an option to 1. alert the person on call multiple times before escalating 2. escalate one by one in the next layer and stop escalating if someone already acknowledges the alert What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? 1. ...

Works without issue and new updates are frequest
What do you like best? I like that it works and we do not really have to worry about it failing to page us in a critical situation What do you dislike? This is trivial, but there are some interface options that can get clunky...such as when scheduling an override. But like I said these are trivial and if this is the biggest issue then so be it. Recommendations to others considering the product: If you need paging, look no farther. What problems are you solving with the product? ...

PagerDuty help us very much in error detection.
What do you like best? We have used PagerDuty on a vast scale in our projects. Pager duty helps us very much in getting the alerts and the integrations provided by them are fantastic. In a span of a few days, we have become a fan of Pager Duty. What do you dislike? What I don't like about Pager Duty is that it kind of annoys developer in the middle of the night, but that's its job. But we are satisfied in the last, but at the time of call it kind of annoys us. But this is the thing we ...

Awesome tool for OnCall Duty
What do you like best? PagerDuty is simple, yet a brilliant tool for incident reporting and quick turn-around; quick turn-around is the key success factor in incident handling. It provides you integration with many other incident reporting tools, for example, Slack. A quick access to everything that you need to have beforehand while handling an incident gives you a feel of abundance. Having the links to pre-configured tools that take you directly to the info collected and analyzed by ...

Exactly what we needed for our web-based business
What do you like best? Being able to create PagerDuty incidents from a variety of different triggers, such as emails from support staff, and automated alarms from AWS. Being able to set up quite complex schedules to share the load of being "on call" to PagerDuty pages. What do you dislike? The only thing I dislike about PagerDuty is getting paged, and that's hardly the tool's fault!! Recommendations to others considering the product: Make sure you know how to detect problems, ...
