What do you like best? multi dimensional analytic tools, smart view users interface robust API, many wide ranges of application avaialable. What do you dislike? if you have a very sparse data block sparse the performance could be lacking, hybrid cube will be ideal but the technology is not matured yet What problems are you solving with the product? What do you like best? it's multidimensional, chalenging compared to ebs but far more powerful. What do you dislike? Not much able to extract data easily as other database What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Interface with oracle databasse to perform finance report.

What benefits have you realized? Essbase is the core of our accounting analytics. Essbase is the one source of truth for our company's financials.

What do you like best? The system is easy to use and end users have very little issues What do you dislike? I do not having to learn MDX Scripts for ASO which is different than BSO Calc Scripts What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? We are using a hybrid cube that has helped our planning team.

A person needs considerable training to get good with the database What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Reporting and Hyperion Planning. Duplication of other systems in one common speedy system.
