I requested my website to be…

I requested my website to be transferred to another server, including the domain name and the files. Namecheap transferred the domain, but not the files, when I requested for the files to be transferred they said they lost them and they can't be recovered.so I lost them for ever.

Scammed me $80, refused to refund

Two years ago I registered a hosting plan together with a .de domain. Few days ago I wanted to renew it. I have put both the domain and the hosting plan into the cart, paid more than $80 and a few minutes later I received a refund of around $7 for the domain. I got an error saying I can't renew the domain (why even let me pay for it in the first place?. I went straight to the Live Chat, asking them whats going on. Now I had the hosting plan, but no domain, which were actually coupled to ...

Namecheap is a SCAM

Namecheap is a SCAM. They altered my settings to auto-renew WITHOUT my permission. My credit card was charged THOUSANDS of dollars - UNAUTHORISED. I HAD been a loyal customer for YEARS with no problem. The company's REFUSING to refund my money. Will be taking legal action.

Watch out for auto-billing -- you think it's ON, but it isnt'...

So.... I pretty much loved everything about Namecheap.... Until. Until I realized, thanks to another user's very sad Trustpilot review (review ID 5d0f9f83b055990790eb9b38 by N Jarvis, June 2019 that they essentially deploy a trap-like auto-renewal policy that is SET UP to part you from your domains. In essence, you buy a domain, put a card on file, and enable auto-renew of the domain, because why not. And you go off on holiday thinking everything is set up to be billed and paid for. They ...

Unhelpful staff seeking to void responsibility

I tried 5 or 6 times to reset my password before the system locked my account. I contacted their support team for help and they were unhelpful. The strategy of their unskilled staff is to just delegate you between various teams to avoid responsibility; wasting your time and providing no solution to your problem.

Wouldn't say trash but the first time I…

Wouldn't say trash but the first time I tried registering a domain name for wolf.onl it never worked. So I contact support and they told me that the domain was premium sale. It can happen and sometimes it's a glitch so you know what I did... I just asked them "well what about wolf.mba? What is special?" they told me that special domains are promotions and well, I succeeded in registering : After hearing the bad news about the first domain I didn't exactly give up on registering my first ...

Great Service

Customer from may 2015 (domains / hosting VPS.Great Service! Best professional support on my language (Russian.Of course, they have some disadvantages (no more than similar services, but they are constantly evolving and this can be seen. You can always find an interesting offer that motivates you to stay with them. For example: I pay less for my VPS now than I did in the beginning. My only complaint is the average speed of downloading files from the hosting (I work with large files and for ...
