Don't waste your time and money

Although I did my research and the reviews were 50/50 I wanted to give it a shot and buy a domain from them. I went through their entire process, bought the domain and instantly, I was charged and got an error message that the domain WAS NOT AVAILABLE. I was already charged, do not waste your time with these damn scammers!

Cheap like the name

Cheap like the name. Their domains are cheap but their service is not good. Server too slow and DNS take too long to update.

Avoid ! please

i bought 5 domains from namecheap.com. They charged my right amount of money. for verification of my credit card they called me on phone and asked to dictate them the credit card number on phone. I apologized because this is unprofessional and may lead to fraud. they advised to open a ticket which has been denied already. live chat is useless because they cannot solve financial issues.furthermore i did not get a refund and domains i bought were put up for sale same day.tomorrow anyone can ...

Your guarantees and terms of use are vague and misleading. Lies in my opinion. For example you say there is a 30 Day Refund Guarantee on Business Shared Hosting. Yet in the terms there is a statement that it is only good if you are a first time shared hosting user. When I went to cancel the comp denied my refund and stated it was ANY shared hosting plan. They applied first time use across all shared hosting plans... NOT the Business plan only. The others do not carry a guarantee but you get ...

Excellent Support

I have been using Namecheap for many years - both as a domain registrar and for hosting.I find their support excellent. While it is just email based, responses are 99% of the time prompt and to the point.They are also helpful. Sometimes I need to do some change to many domains. Rather than plodding through each one manually I would ask them to do it and the do it!
