Spotsaas Editor’s POV

Mural works best for distributed teams running synchronous workshops, design sprints, and brainstorming sessions where real-time co-editing matters. Before shortlisting, verify that your team can commit to live sessions—asynchronous workflows (leaving comments on static boards) feel clunky compared to tools like Miro or Figma. Check whether Mural's template ...Read more

"Gamechanging for the way I present work and organize ideas daily"

What do you like best about Mural? I love that it's an infinite space. I'm not bound by a PowerPoint and can drag and drop ideas into anywhere I need. I love my physical sticky notes, but being able to have them endlessly for each of my projects is just great. I manage projects across the board for my company so having a note taking area and a work area in one is just so beneficial to me. Its easy to show what I am working on with all the tools that the program offers me. As I am decently ...

"Powerful Collaboration Tool for Brainstorming, Planning, Sharing Ideas, and Making Decisions"

What do you like best about Mural? There are several things I love about Mural. But my favorite thing is probably using Mural as a real-time collaboration and brainstorming tool with my colleagues. I also love how the canvas size can expand to meet my needs. We can put as much detail in as we want and easily zoom in and out. We also love using it as a presentation tool in place of PowerPoint because of how much more powerful a tool it is. Not only is it a presentation tool, but it is also a ...

The only downside is that it does not work well in all browser types. I have found Chrome and Edge to both work well. Recommendations to others considering Mural: Mural is a great product that is easy to use. The training webinars they offer are helpful for tips and tricks. I would recommend ...

"Excellent for Virtual Collaboration"

What do you like best about Mural? MURAL has been extremely helpful for creating live virtual engagement. I use it often in my virtual trainings in conjunction with Zoom. It's especially helpful when I want groups to work together in breakout rooms. I can easily set up the workspace, scenarios, and instructions for my learners. What do you dislike about Mural? There's a cost associated for each user. If my learners are participating in just one 1-hr training where I ask them to use MURAL, ...

"MURAL has been a blessing for the new virtual world."

What do you like best about Mural? I like that people can participate anonymously, which encourages optimal feedback. I also like that many people can work in the workspace at the same time, and it is just very visually appealing! It has kept my team focused and energized during the pandemic. I have also very much appreciated all of the templates - I've been able to use a lot of them for their intended use, but I've also been able to revise them to fit my needs. Another fun thing we've done ...

"I love mural, is quite simple to interact and is flexible for many processes"

What do you like best about Mural? The flexibility and the design from mural is the thing that I like most in my work daily routine and when I am using it. I love to navigate through the platform and discover different ways to do the same thing. And every time that I came with a new layout my team gives me great feedback. And considering that we are leaving a pandemic and I and my team are working remotely I think MURAL is helping us to manage our planning meetings, reviews, retrospectives, ...
