Spotsaas Editor’s POV

Mural works best for distributed teams running synchronous workshops, design sprints, and brainstorming sessions where real-time co-editing matters. Before shortlisting, verify that your team can commit to live sessions—asynchronous workflows (leaving comments on static boards) feel clunky compared to tools like Miro or Figma. "MURAL is totally indispensable to me, even more in this era of virtual collaboration! 10/10"

What do you like best about Mural? The ease of expression. I like the various tools and means that one can use to easily visualize their ideas. I work as an information developer, and we constantly look for ways to connect with other stakeholders in a manner which is less text heavy, and more collaborative. And the answer to all our needs is MURAL. I have used it for project lifecycle designs, planning activities, empathy mapping, brainstorming, and my most favorite - chatbot mockups. I ...

"Awesome, digestible tool that is user-friendly and provides a high-level project overview"

What do you like best about Mural? I love how easy it is to use the tool - gone are the annoying days of dealing with Powerpoint, long reports, or other cumbersome tools. With Mural, I can easily create a high-level tool that summarizes what progress has been made on the project and who is responsible for what. The user-friendly tools such as sectioning items into areas, allowing for interactive file/link uploads, snapping to the grid, and more help me use my time more efficiently and is ...

"Great collaboration tool and a lifesaver during this remote time working from home!"

What do you like best about Mural? I love how easy Mural is to use and how easy it makes it to collaborate with each other! What do you dislike about Mural? I wish it was easier to copy mural boards into different workspaces. I have multiple mural work spaces for different clients and creating copies of murals in different spaces is not easy to do (I'm not sure it's possible yet). What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you? All remote collaboration! It's a great way to be ...

"The best collaboration tool out there"

What do you like best about Mural? I've been using Mural for 3 years now, as well as other collaboration, white-board tools and I feel most comfortable with Mural. I've seen how they have evolved the tool, added new features that are well designed to what us users need. They have great customer support. They offer webinars on how to use Mural better but also webinars on other related business topics. Like I said, I think it's usability and features are very well thought of to make remote ...

"Gamechanger for Teaching"

What do you like best about Mural? It is a digital pin up board for the students in my architecture studio. It allows them to see each others work and it helps me track their progress. What do you dislike about Mural? It doesn't hold enough digital information. I have to make new boards constantly. The comments are hidden and the chat is not intuitive to use. I wish there was a way for the users to maintain a dialogue that is slightly more visible. It would also be nice if mural could ...

"The best collaboration tool out there"

What do you like best about Mural? The ability to co-ordinate and collaborate with peers and customers across the globe instantly in a visually engaging way. Has allowed us to run classroom training fully remote. Shared and private murals allows us to share where we need to. The basic set of shapes and 'sticky' posting function along with voting is awesome. Allowing people to interact on a commonn visual together moving objects is so powerful, and opens up new ways of interacting even ...
