Spotsaas Editor’s POV

Mural works best for distributed teams running synchronous workshops, design sprints, and brainstorming sessions where real-time co-editing matters. Before shortlisting, verify that your team can commit to live sessions—asynchronous workflows (leaving comments on static boards) feel clunky compared to tools like Miro or Figma. "MURAL helps my team maximize our impact"

What do you like best about Mural? Honestly as a licensed MURAL user - I love how simple it is to create a MURAL from existing templates to meet the needs of my team or clients. It's great for small team meetings or large 60+ person trainings. I've gotten so much positive feedback from participants about the integration of MURAL as a tool that we've come to rely on it regularly and even as part of our work plans. What do you dislike about Mural? I have encountered users who are blocked from ...

"Best tool for creating remote experiences"

What do you like best about Mural? Mural has been a real savior during COVID to still be able to create remote experiences for workshop participants. It allows me to structure discussions, capture all input and keeping the audience engaged. It's easy to share templates within an organisation, or use some of the MURAL templates for inspiration. Also less tech-savvy participants can follow conversations by double clicking the facilitator's picture and just following along. It's easy to invite ...

"Mural is a game changer!"

What do you like best about Mural? It's really difficult to lead trainings in a virtual world, but mural lets you do that in a really unique way! You are able to engage participants instead of speaking at them. In a world where everyone is zoomed out, this is SO important! What do you dislike about Mural? I wish designing a board from scratch was easier. I wish there were elements that already existed like dividers and such. It can be really time consuming to create a board, so if there ...

"Amazing tool to collaborate remotely."

What do you like best about Mural? The feature I liked the most is that Mural gives you a big and adjustable white board and you can zoom in and create as many content you want. It gives you a very broader view of your collaboration. What do you dislike about Mural? I would say it is very beneficial when working remotely but I am not sure how it useful it will when people will work in office and not remotely. What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you? After starting of ...

"Mural helped me in new role"

What do you like best about Mural? It is very easy to use and easy to learn or to introduce to others. I can be creative and use what others have already created - whether it is people in my company or presets included in Mural. What do you dislike about Mural? If people are not used to some of modern technologies, explaining things that are intuitive for me - like moving around - might be difficult, but I do not know if there is a way around it. What problems is Mural solving and how is ...

"Easy, real-time collaboration!"

What do you like best about Mural? Mural is intuitive and easy to use. Beginners can use the basics for real-time, remote collaboration. Once you learn the basics, you can use many other features to become a power user (i.e. templates, polls, timers, etc.) What do you dislike about Mural? New users on our team (typically not designers), have said it can be hard to learn the commands or work quickly. What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you? Remote collaboration during a ...
