Spotsaas Editor’s POV

Mural works best for distributed teams running synchronous workshops, design sprints, and brainstorming sessions where real-time co-editing matters. Before shortlisting, verify that your team can commit to live sessions—asynchronous workflows (leaving comments on static boards) feel clunky compared to tools like Miro or Figma. Check whether Mural's template ...Read more

"G2 Review"

What do you like best about Mural? Functionality, ease of creating visually appealing graphics/workflows. Much easier to work with than Microsoft Word What do you dislike about Mural? Difficulty in anticipating zooming in/out needs; inability to automatically save mural/template as pdf to desktop (ie: have to retrieve saved pdf via email) What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you? I'm able to create documents of workflows and communicate my ideas much easier to various ...

"Mural, my favorite collaboration tool for consultant and education work"

What do you like best about Mural? Mural I use mostly for educational and consultancy work. The best thing about Mural is the stable and fast interface. There will be no obvious delay when multiple people collaborate, and most importantly, the form of collaboration without registration and login reduces the entry of each other when facing unfamiliar customers. Threshold, to avoid too much education in advance, hindering the progress of real consulting work. What do you dislike about ...

"Collaboration hub!"

What do you like best about Mural? Being able to collaborate at real time with your team and sharing the work with the client on lo fidelity wires, diagrams, and any other workshops What do you dislike about Mural? The arrows are finicky and makes it hard to move things around when making user flows. They get massed up al lot when i try to move them. Also sometimes, things get messed up and when i try to control+z, it doesn't go back to before. What problems is Mural solving and how is that ...

"My best collaborative work tool for my project teams, interaction with clients and my online courses"

What do you like best about Mural? The interface is intuitive, so it's easy to motivate students or customers to interact and have richer discussions. I prepared an exercise board to let people new to Mural get on board, previous to the meeting or class. What do you dislike about Mural? I have the consultant's plan, but in the free version, it's not possible to identify participants by name (Mural identifies by icons of animals, etc.). Of course, Of course, it's the free version. What ...

"outstanding"

What do you like best about Mural? I have been using it for two years and after an hour I was already a Jedi master of Mural. It is of a disarming simplicity. My clients, especially groups, always have the same experience. This digital whiteboard allows you to make every thought, emotion or complex concept visual, thanks to very simple tools to use. I noticed how in two years the developers have added new features to make the experience of the participants and the facilitator even more ...

"Mural - our weapon of choice"

What do you like best about Mural? 1. Easy to understand interface 2. Great features integrated into the Facilitator Superpowers, such as locking the view for the team 3. The free-forever plan 4. Plenty of templates 5. Ask to be followed feature (especially when used by visitors) What do you dislike about Mural? I tend to work on boards with 50+ outlines and when I need to change their order or add a new one, the overall flow always gets messed up. This results in me having to re-arrange ...

"Easy to use with customers"

What do you like best about Mural? I love, love, love Mural. It is very easy to use, intuitive and the templates are amazing. The complexity for participants is reduced to the max. It is my goto tool for creative online-work. What do you dislike about Mural? The only little thing would be that the post-its also have some kind of shadow like with miro. If I have to choose I always would use Mural.co Recommendations to others considering Mural: If you use it with customers who never used it I ...

"Mural my best friend for collaboration"

What do you like best about Mural? Mural is an easy and practical tool to collaborate with other people, it is not necessary for guests to register. When you get a consultant or educational account you can take full advantage of all the functionalities. The templates work very well and make my job easier. What do you dislike about Mural? When you use it in free mode you can lose the job when the free trial is over and the only way to get it back is by paying a plan. At least alerts should ...

"Great virtual whiteboard software"

What do you like best about Mural? The software was straightforward to learn. Templates made creating whiteboards easy, and inviting guests helped facilitate the collaboration. What do you dislike about Mural? Within the work hub, mural spaces were difficult to organize. For those projects that included several spaces finding them felt 'clunky' What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you? White board collaboration meetings while working remotely during the pandemic.
