Are you using MURAL?
Spotsaas Editor’s POV
Mural works best for distributed teams running synchronous workshops, design sprints, and brainstorming sessions where real-time co-editing matters. Before shortlisting, verify that your team can commit to live sessions—asynchronous workflows (leaving comments on static boards) feel clunky compared to tools like Miro or Figma. "Remote Group Collaboration is Finally Fun!"
What do you like best about Mural? I love that MURAL is always one step ahead of me when it comes to knowing what tools I need. Working virtually with volunteers through a number of workshops and brainstorm sessions, features such as the "dotmocracy" voting allow me to quickly get a sense of how the group is feeling about a given topic so that it never feels like I'm having to sway group decisions. What do you dislike about Mural? MURAL can be a bit of a learning curve for new users and can ...

"MURAL significantly improves participants' engagement in instructor-led, virtual training"

"Great virtual brainstorming tool"
What do you like best about Mural? Mural is a great tool for brainstorming virtually - there is a large library of existing templates or you can create your own, which is easy to customize and adapt to your business needs. It is simple to share with the brainstorming team and quick to pick up, even for non-tech-savvy users. It is also very cost-effective. It is also very easy to identify different users navigating through the tool, and be able to "summon" them to see the intended ...

"Versatile + intuitive collaboration tool"
What do you like best about Mural? As a strategic planner and professional facilitator, I love the facilitator controls, particularly the outline function and the ability to control what participants are seeing. What do you dislike about Mural? I would love to have a "chat" function that, as facilitator, allows me to chat privately during a collaboration meeting with certain participants. What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you? There's simply no way to work through ...

"A game changer for online meetings!"
What do you like best about Mural? MURAL allows you to facilitate dynamic online events and capture the knowledge, contributions, questions, and ideas of everyone in the room. It allows you to overcome power dynamics, language barriers, and the reluctance of participants to chime in during big meetings. Like any tool, a lot depends on a well-designed and facilitated process, but MURAL definitely ups the anty and helps to ensure high-quality and high-impact online meetings! I also love the ...
