Spotsaas Editor’s POV

Mural works best for distributed teams running synchronous workshops, design sprints, and brainstorming sessions where real-time co-editing matters. "Easy to use, for pros and new users"

What do you like best about Mural? Double click for post it notes makes it easy, and I like that if you change colour, the next one is always that colour too. Makes it great to use for fast-paced sessions and for new users. I also like the folder organisation on the main dashboard, makes finding boards easy/logical. What do you dislike about Mural? I dislike having two clicks to create a text box. Then you have to click the box away. So three clicks for text! Also I don't know why text and ...

"Incredibly useful tool"

What do you like best about Mural? MURAL is a necessity for virtual engagement. Our team regularly uses MURAL to facilitate workshops. I love that it allows for non-verbal participation (useful when there are a lot of participants and/or a short amount of time) but can also facilitate discussion through tools such as voting. What do you dislike about Mural? Creating a MURAL board is often time-intensive. I wish there were more templates to work with/it was easier to work within a grid to ...

"Easy to use and enables collaboration across all teams"

What do you like best about Mural? I love the drag and drop functionality of the tool. It is also very intuitive so it takes very little time to get everyone ready to use for a workshop or brainstorming session. Also takes very little time to create a template as there are plenty of examples to build off from. What do you dislike about Mural? It becomes very hard to read if someone types too much in a sticky note. As well, areas within the Mural board have a tendency to move around, ...

"Amazing collaborative solution that increases inclusivity and efficiency"

What do you like best about Mural? The most helpful features in MURAL are the facilitator ones. They can make such a difference by ensuring that everybody has a voice and is participating. These features are a game changer, especially in remote or hybrid environments. Another great benefit is the ability it gives users to work asynchronously. "MURAL is where online creativity meets collaboration and communication"

What do you like best about Mural? I love the regular updates, tutorials and template ideas. They inspire me to try out new features, and challenge me to take my interventions to the next level. What do you dislike about Mural? I sometimes feel a bit lost using the infinite MURAL; it's a psychological thing - my clients like to have an edge or a boundary. Great to have lots of options - there's always a setting that meets our needs. What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting ...
