Spotsaas Editor’s POV

Mural works best for distributed teams running synchronous workshops, design sprints, and brainstorming sessions where real-time co-editing matters. "I couldn't work as effectively without it"

What do you like best about Mural? I love that it's very easy to use and people who have never used it can get up and running in no time, making it possible to run collaborative remote workshops with any type of customer. What do you dislike about Mural? It would be nice to have a video call feature so I could see my colleagues in the same screen I'm working on. I don't like it when objects move around or get stuck, the locking function could be smoother. What problems is Mural solving and ...

"Great platform to collaborate and brainstorm."

What do you like best about Mural? The best thing about Mural is that we can anonymously join and share our ideas. What do you dislike about Mural? I really do not have any dislikes for Mural yet. I think I would need to get some more hands-on with the tool in order to understand if it has any drawbacks. What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you? Mural is solving the problem of collaborating virtually with team members.

The interface is extremely intuitive, and provides several white-boarding options whether brainstorming design, process or communication. What do you dislike about Mural? Interface at times can lack features or graphics that its peers do. Kanban, tables, charts are available for others that are not available in Mural. What problems is Mural solving and how is that benefiting you? Like many ...

"Mural is a key piece of our Agile planning"

What do you like best about Mural? Mural makes it easy to organize our work for Quarterly Planning within a board or multiple boards. We use the tool to plan our stories at a high level and then lay out a sprint plan for the upcoming quarter. The tool is user friendly and easy to teach others to use so that we can have our entire team engaged. What do you dislike about Mural? I wouldn't say there are a lot of downsides to the tool. The integration with Jira is good but could use some ...
