What do you like best about Mode? User friendly, easy to present and use. Great customer experience. Like the interface and think its clean. What do you dislike about Mode? Hard to invite friends, have to manually type their emails. What problems is Mode solving and how is that benefiting you? I was trying to teach a SQL class. What do you like best about Mode? Mode is easy to provide data to teammates who lack SQL (or any technical background). A lot of requests from staff have been automated in Mode. What do you dislike about Mode? The SQL functionality is somewhat 'limited' and does not allow the same amount of granularity as can be done with SMS. What do you like best? It's great. I like how much better it performs than metabase. What do you dislike? I wish the UI were more intuitive as far as figuring out how to name new files and projects. Recommendations to others considering the product: Make sure to set up your workspace appropriately What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? "Mode Analytics - Simple to Use but lacking certain features"

What do you like best about Mode? Mode is very easy to use - it is just base SQL with little to no learning curve. For users who understand CSS / HTML you can use those skills to build much more complex visualization systems for data What do you dislike about Mode? For basic data visualization the options are quite limited. You cannot easily change legend color without either re-writing your SQL code or using HTML. You cannot change the x / y axis of the data without advanced manipulations. ...

What do you like best? Easy to query database and visualize that data quickly. What do you dislike? Custom plots aren't as customizable as I would like What problems are you solving with the product? "Mode makes data sharing more convenient"

What do you like best? Mode replaced a very annoying and error-prone step of our workflow in removing the need to pass around continually changing jupyter notebooks in which many people were interested. The SQL editor also made it very intuitive to learn SQL much more proficiently than I had known it before. What do you dislike? Really the only downside to working within Mode is the speed of editing and running notebooks. Queries themselves are very fast, but editing the notebooks is slow ...

"Used Mode to share scientific data and usage analytics for our cloud platform"

What do you like best about Mode? Being able to share re-runnable analytics notebooks with management saves a significant amount of time and frees us to keep working on actual R&D tasks. What do you dislike about Mode? The python notebook interface is still nowhere near as robust (fast, stable, predictable) as a normal jupyter notebook, which slows down debugging.
