"Easy to use, more insights to our company's data"

What do you like best about Mode? I love that I can easily access my company's data on the browser without having to do any additional configuration. What do you dislike about Mode? I wish there was more intuitive organization of my past queries and reports. Also, if we can link data from different servers using SQL rather than needing to switch to python. Recommendations to others considering Mode: Contact the support team if you have trouble, they are helpful and can improve your ...

"Easy-breezy data analysis"

What do you like best about Mode? Mode is a beautiful multi-functional tool for ad hoc analysis, notebooks, reporting, and dashboards. It's an optimal solution for our startup because at the start it satisfies all of our analytical scenarious. What do you dislike about Mode? I'd like to have an open roadmap to understanding new features release date. Also, I'd like to see notebook functionality for SQL like in Apache Zeppelin to make available self-service ETL processes. Recommendations to ...

"Hitting all of those Numbers"

What do you like best about Mode? I love that Mode has all of the numbers I need there for me in one easy go. What do you dislike about Mode? While I appreciate working with all of the numbers is some hard work it would be amazing if Mode could pick up that speed a little. Recommendations to others considering Mode: Get in there and give Mode a go, it sure is a time saver What problems is Mode solving and how is that benefiting you? I have everything at my fingertips for meetings and reviews.

"Best all-round data science web tool"

What do you like best about Mode? I liked the most how easy and seamless it's the UI and customizations. You can get your data and work on it in the same tab, add visualizations, use python for the deeper analytical stuff etc... What do you dislike about Mode? I didn't like the python notebook interface that much. It lags behind compared to a standalone python notebook, but i think they'll make it better eventually. It's a pretty new feature. Recommendations to others considering Mode: I ...

"Just What I Needed"

What do you like best about Mode? Having used Periscope, Looker, Qlik, Tableau, and even Google Sheets - I feel like I could give a full-day lecture on the Pros/Cons of platforms in the data-trade. Simply put: Mode gives the tools rather than the solution. I don't need a tool that will generate SQL for me or let me drag-and-drop fields for exploration. I need a platform that lets me rapidly transform, and iterate on our data for strategy and process improvement. Mode does just that. What do ...

"Data Science all in one"

What do you like best about Mode? Mode Analytics is such a great data science tool. One of the best perks it offers is Collaboration, you can easily share and collaborate on the same project. It is a web-based platform that supports SQL, Python, and R, so it is an all around Data Science tool. What do you dislike about Mode? If a report od a dashboard has many queries, they become slow and you have to wait a long time till the run time. Recommendations to others considering Mode: Mode ...

"perfect tool to fill the gaps of Looker ( or any other BI tool)"

What do you like best about Mode? Combined package of a powerful SQL editor, ability to quickly create pivot tables and chart, and shareable python notebooks. What do you dislike about Mode? Nothing as such. But I have to put a pessimist hat, then using mode becomes a hard sell when you are already using Databricks. What problems is Mode solving and how is that benefiting you? Sharing neatly formatted analysis via slack

"Powerful product that keeps improving"

What do you like best? Very easy to write & share SQL queries and results. Over the last two years Mode has made huge improvements to their visualization capabilities, which are not well ahead of Looker. What do you dislike? Not much to say here since things keep improving. SQL writing assistance like Looker would be great. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? We are tracking daily business metrics and using them to generate revenue projections. ...
