Microsoft SQL Database

What do you like best? The ability to have the product provide the t-sql for actions when you may want to run a process multiple times and would just rather automate it with a maintenance plan. The ability to integrate with other products is a great plus and being able to provide users with reports that they can understand. What do you dislike? Performance monitoring is sometimes vague, and slow. Some details can be confusing when first working with the product. It would also be nice if ...

The industry standard

What do you like best? Works as advertised. Easy to manage. Pretty solid GUI. We've been running a SQL DB for around 8 years with minimal maintenance and headache. In the rare instance that there is an issue, they can be difficult to solve without getting Microsoft Support on the phone. Recommendations to others considering the product I would advise others to go with SQL over any of the ...

Sometimes it is a little clumsy when taking in queries. For instance, I do not like referring to the master db again and again when I have already written the query to use it. Every time we have to refer to the main db.tablename which gets redundant. Recommendations to others considering the product Go for it! ...
