What do you like best? common use. MS SQL is commonly used many places, so skills learned are widely useful. Tries too hard
What do you like best? When it works it works great, easy to set up and the web/express editions, although limited are reasonable. More secure than other similar products. What do you dislike? The pricing is a mess, different licenses and situations (clients/dev/Gold Partner is just all confusing. The Enterprise edition is a joke of a price. Very stable
What do you like best? What I like about Microsoft SQL, is the ease of setup and table editing. Its backup functionality is second to none, which is perfect for enterprise environments. What do you dislike? Migration can be a bit difficult. We upgraded from Sercer 2008 r2 to 2012 r2 and it took two weeks. What business problems are you solving with the product?
