Great project management and planning application for the value

What do you like best? Microsoft Project falls right in line with the rest of my Microsoft Office Suite and 365 products. The application is almost always stable and reliable, and the user interface is simple enough with the extra features that make it more powerful if I need. What do you dislike? Of my Microsoft applications, I can say that this is my least favorite to work with. The user interface is simple, but doesn't always flow as well as some of the project management ...

Great project management tool with easy integration

What do you like best? I like this tool because I use other Microsoft products like Office, Excel and Word and I can sign into the same account on all of them. It's very easy to navigate especially for those already familiar with Microsoft products and is great for planning large projects. Overall, it is a thoroughly developed software that is arguably the best out there, but perhaps not the easiest to use for new users. What do you dislike? I think it is a little clunky still and ...

Microsoft project planner

What do you like best? It is very easy to set schedules up for large or small scale projects. Could be very useful in the medical device industry where there are many different teams collaborating. What do you dislike? It would be nice if it came with the traditional Microsoft office package. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? I have not had any problems. The software is easy to learn.

Compatible, but may be a learning curve.

What do you like best? I prefer Microsoft products as they can easily fit within our domain. When it comes to any size of projects Project helps organize and form them. This is especially true in any size of an organization. I have colleagues in very large companies and it is very good for them as well. I would at least recommend a small trial to see if it will help any of your managers help manage their projects easier and help them run more smoothly. I like how detailed the help page ...

Efficient software for the management, planning and optimization of project resources

What do you like best? It is one of the most useful and effective tools to carry out management and meticulous monitoring of work projects, it is a very simple tool to implement and its user interface is user-friendly at the time of starting it. It has a large number of functions that help manage the optimization of project planners. Collectively or individually, I can track the elements that make up each project and thus achieve an optimization in cost analysis, execution time and ...

It's fine, but not for those trying to be agile

What do you like best? It's within the Microsoft suite so licensing is much easier if you're already using O365. Similarly, it's a familiar interface so you'll find things where you'd assume to find them. What do you dislike? It can feel cumbersome to update and do some "simple" tasks. To some degree, you could probably manage some products via an Excel spreadsheet and at times, I've done that just to make it more accessible for others to see what's going on without having to buy ...

Jira Seems to Be a Better Choice for Me

What do you like best? This was the de facto project management software I used for years. It has project scope breakdown and timeline estimates in a single view. It is also a great tool for budget tracking, KPIs, dependencies management, critical path, GANTT chart, and resources management. It has all the bells and whistles project manager needs. What do you dislike? This was the de facto project management software until Jira became available. I like Jira being a cloud product ...
