Robust but easy to get lost in
What do you like best? I love all of the features that are included with MS Project. Other systems have various needs, but nothing that includes all of options. What do you dislike? Because there are so many options / features / enhancements, it is easy to get lost and make project planning too detailed and cumbersome Recommendations to others considering the product There are a lot of options available on the market. Do not base decisions solely on price. If you are looking for a ...

Awesome project management tools software
What do you like best? This software is very easy to use and understand as long as you have a knowledge in scheduling. You can easily update the schedule everyday and retain the original schedule to monitor progress of each task and identify how long the project completion. What do you dislike? It's been a long time since I used this microsoft project in my previous company and just saw it again in one of our webinar and they are having issue with zooming the schedule. I hope zooming ...

Easy to learn-helpful for small modifications
What do you like best? The easy visibility from a Gantt chart is the best. Being able to see exactly how a project will be impacted by timeline delays, fiddling with requirements and creating milestones is very helpful. What do you dislike? Once you start, editing is not the easiest. Microsoft Project, like any project management software, gives you a great baseline but does not help with reporting, small issues, or document management. Recommendations to others considering the ...

What do you like best? I most like the structure of the tool and the ease of enforcing standardization across project managers and projects What do you dislike? Structure is great but some more fluid features would also be nice. Such as the ability to drag and drop the Gantt chart to more easily adjust dates in one fell swoop. Recommendations to others considering the product Carefully outline your project process before engaging for implementation as this takes the longest amount ...

Good for SMB Project Management
What do you like best? The best feature for us is the ease of use. Microsoft Project is easy to get up and running very quickly. We did not require assistance from the vendor in getting this product set up. What do you dislike? It would be nice to implement this in a web-based platform as we would be able to have access from multiple devices using one interface. Recommendations to others considering the product Make sure that Microsoft Project can meet your needs as far as the types ...

Great Project Management tool!
What do you like best? I like that it is pretty intuitive, and doesn't take much prep work to get started. Most odd features are easily google-able (like most Microsoft products. What do you dislike? There's an occasional crash here and there that causes me to lose my work, but nothing frequent enough to ruin the experience. Users should remember to save and save often! What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? It's really just an ...
