"Microsoft Access - Makes Data Accessible!!!"

What do you like best about Microsoft Access? I like the ability to make forms and utilize them to manage databases of information. I can modify them very quickly. Access also allows a user to utilize VBA (Visual Basic for Applications), a fully functional programming utility to simplify repeated tasks or tasks that do not require any additional creative thought, merely a series of if then situations. "Decent option for data management"

What do you like best about Microsoft Access? I guess the best feature, for me, is that I can create an unlimited number of tables and queries. So I don't have to go in and repeatedly filter a single query to get the variations I need in my results. What do you dislike about Microsoft Access? Unless you know a lot about how Access works behind the scenes, debugging or even setting up complicated queries can be difficult to do. What problems is Microsoft Access solving and how is that ...

"best used outside of the box"

What do you like best about Microsoft Access? I use for ODBC connections for reporting from 2 sql databases. It provides a level of functionality at a great price point. What do you dislike about Microsoft Access? the queries are still a bit clumsy in the "sql" window. Recommendations to others considering Microsoft Access: An inexpensive solution for small businesses where a more "home brew" reporting approach is helpful. What problems is Microsoft Access solving and how is that benefiting ...

"Perfect application for immediate needs"

What do you like best about Microsoft Access? Access is very user friendly. I'm not an IT person, but I use it all the time to create databases I can use with other software, such as Excel and Maptitude. What do you dislike about Microsoft Access? As an Access 2016 user, I can't share a database with an Access 2010 user if I've compacted/repaired it. What problems is Microsoft Access solving and how is that benefiting you? I use Access when our IT department is too busy to assist and I need ...
