"Easy to use for simple and complicated purposes"

What do you like best about Microsoft Access? Access can be a great tool for creating everything from your own simple database to a more complicated database. Upgrades in Office 365 make it even easier to link to other information from pretty much any source you can think of and have live data always available for your queries and reports. Integrating macros and some design skills really makes anything possible. What do you dislike about Microsoft Access? I would love if MicroSoft Access ...

"Serves it's purpose"

What do you like best about Microsoft Access? I don't particularly - but it is does hold information all in the same place What do you dislike about Microsoft Access? not intuitive. not enough sorting options, no filter, can't create log of select items, searching is difficult. If I had the time to input all the data in Excel, it would be more useful there. What problems is Microsoft Access solving and how is that benefiting you? identifying "dead" offsite storage by box and roll, location, etc.

"A great product for your database needs"

What do you like best about Microsoft Access? I like how easy and convenient it is in order to put a database together in order to organize large amounts of data. What do you dislike about Microsoft Access? Although it is convenient, it seems easier to just use Microsoft Excel to use a database since you dont have to figure out all the commands that is needed to be used in Access. I believe that is why Access is not used by as many people anymore because they are using Excel as a database ...

"Microsoft Access - Easy to Use"

What do you like best about Microsoft Access? I enjoy using Access because of how easy it is. It is very straight forward! What do you dislike about Microsoft Access? Sometimes the databases take forever to open, as if they are hung up because of how large they are. What problems is Microsoft Access solving and how is that benefiting you? We use Access to do reverse audits. We also use them for payroll purposes. Access is so much easier to mash data than using Excel. It's quicker and easier!

"Excellent Database platform for small companies"

What do you like best about Microsoft Access? The ability for small offices and departments the ability to create, customize, and automate routine tasks. I was able to also create an MS Access database for the non-profit organization, Tzi-Chi, that enabled me to build a photo library for them. This is a feat in itself since the database can scan the network drives looking for file properties that are encoded both in Chinese and English and allow the user to quickly find the file location ...

" Good for non-sql users"

What do you like best about Microsoft Access? I've been using Access since 2008 and appreciate how user-friendly and customizable it has always been. What do you dislike about Microsoft Access? A power user of the software.

PROS: I love how MS Access can manage and configure data that I'm dealing with. Data that I've had difficulty managing via MS Excel is a cinch when it comes to Access. I like its wide range of videos as well as its online resources in helping me discover further functionality. I get to learn how to utilize them via SQL and VB. I learn how to deal with computers on my own and I expect it's something that I don't just "click and play." CONS: While Access has compatibility with SharePoint ...
