A good open-source bug tracking system

What do you like best? MantisBT is open source, that means that you can go in and change anything you don't like. It has all the basic things that a bug tracker should have but may lack in advanced features. It's easy to administer and configure. And it's free (there's a paid hosted version available. The risk of trying MantisBT is very low. What do you dislike? The user interface is not very nice and not very fast. Some plugins are not very integrated and some others are very slow. In my ...

Good for what it is - a bug tracker.

What do you like best? Mantis does a very good job at keeping a bug repository that your customers may access directly or via email. It is easily customizable, easy to install, fast, and may run on old hardware. What do you dislike? The interface feels like it's from the 80's. Apart from that, one of the worst aspects in day to day work is that, being a traditional web application, it will not save your half written bug report when it decides to log you out for inactivity. Recommendations ...

A good kickstart for bug tracking

What do you like best? It's a good kickstart for people that are not used to bug tracking tools and practices. Easy to install and maintain, few requirements and a team platform right from the start.
